Our tagline, “Many communities. One voice.”, was developed by a process that involved listening and shifting our thinking about how to best approach change in the Delta region in Arkansas, Mississippi and Louisiana. Fifteen Mid-South Delta Initiative grantee partners united to develop a citizen-centered organization to serve the needs of folks who call the Delta home. These organizations, and new DCA members, now work together to improve economic and social conditions in the region. DCA will revolutionize the Delta through initiatives that focus on training, economic development, asset accumulation, resource development and diversity. Through DCA, citizens from all backgrounds can unite as decision makers and agents for change. This change doesn’t just involve the community - it is guided by the community.
